Taylor Swift and the Kelce family were ‘shocked’ by the ‘ruthlessness’ of Bills Mafia last year

At first glance, it seemed like the Kelce-Swift entourage’s pit stop in Orchard Park, New York for a divisional round victory en route to their second straight Super Bowl was a lot of fun. Jason Kelce was shirtless, drank beer with Bills fans and the Chiefs fans pulled out a 27-24 victory.

But it’s clear that the famous fans left Western New York with a bit of a bitter taste in their mouths. Adam Lefkoe, friend of the Kelces, spoke with Kay Adams at Op & Adams this week and revealed that the group was somewhat shocked by Bills Mafia:

“I’ve heard from people around me that it wasn’t a great experience in Buffalo. It wasn’t. For all parties involved. And I’m talking about the most famous of all parties,” said Lefkoe. “I think it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone associated with the Kelce family a little bit with the reception they got.”

“I think they said, ‘This is going to be a great game with a lot of energy.’ And when they got there, they experienced Bill’s Mafia in full form, in its complete ruthlessness.”

“And I think they left saying, ‘I don’t know if I want to go through that again.'”

It remains to be officially seen if Taylor Swift will attend.

As luck would have it, Swift performed just a few hours away and across the national border in Toronto this week. A league source told CBS Sports that the planning was unintentional. CBS also says the “expectation” is that Swift will be at Highmark Stadium for Sunday’s game. Swift has not been to Chiefs road games yet this season.
