Lumber Trader Dies By Suicide, Accuses Former Employee And Family Of Blackmail In Viral Video; Jumps in front of the train

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A timber trader is said to have committed suicide by jumping in front of a train under the Banganga Bridge. Before taking his own life, he recorded a video accusing a former employee, his wife and his mother of blackmail and uploaded it to social media. The deceased was identified as Komal Singh Bais, 42, a resident of Nandanagar.

In the video, Komal said that he started a business in 2006 from a factory in Lakdi Mandi on Dhar Road. Later he met a man who dealt in wooden planks and they became friends. Komal offered him a job as a manager. Over time, Komal became acquainted with the employee’s family and occasionally stayed at their home.

Unbeknownst to him, the employee and his wife recorded offensive photos and videos of him. Years later, when Komal bought a property, the employee demanded a plot of land in his name and threatened to make the photos and videos viral. Komal then transferred a 600 square meter plot to the employee.

However, the harassment did not stop and the employee again demanded Rs 25 lakh in the guise of a settlement. Komal alleged that the employee also planned to file a false case through his wife. An investigation into the matter was launched.
