College GameDay announces the destination for the Week 13 game

College GameDay returns to Big Ten country in Week 13.

ESPN’s premier pregame show will take place next weekend in Columbus, Ohio, for Ohio State’s highly anticipated matchup with Indiana. It’s possible that both programs will be in the top 5 of the College Football Playoff rankings next week.

Here’s the official announcement:

Barring any other setbacks in Week 14, this game will serve as a de facto play-in game for the Big Ten Championship. The winner would almost certainly face Oregon in the title game in December, with a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff on the line.

The stakes are extremely high for both programs. Ohio State wants to win the Big Ten for the first time since 2020. For Indiana, the Hoosiers are already having their best season in program history, but they may need to win in Columbus on Saturday to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff. .

College GameDay won’t be the only pregame show on campus next weekend. FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff will also take place in Columbus for this match, the network announced Saturday. GameDay and Big Noon were also notable at the same game earlier this month, when they each chose to broadcast from State College before Ohio State-Penn State.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 PM ET on FOX.
