Toronto man fatally stabbed during argument in identified apartment

Toronto police have identified the man who was fatally stabbed in a City Place apartment on Thursday and has charged a suspect in connection with the incident.

According to police, two men got into an argument at a nearby apartment Fort York Boulevard and Dan Leckie Way.

During the argument they allegedly stabbed each other. When police and paramedics arrived, they found the men with life-threatening injuries.

He is the city’s 77th murder victim this year.

Police said the other man, 33-year-old Brian Kelneric, is in the hospital and has been charged with manslaughter.

Investigators have not revealed what the two men were arguing about. They said the men knew each other.
