Four suspected of stealing copper from Jackson’s business

JACKSON, ma’am. (WJTV) – Three men and a woman have been arrested after Jackson police say they stole copper from a business.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of Metro Center Drive on Thursday, November 14. They received a description of the suspects and their vehicle. Detective Tommie Brown said the suspects were arrested on the top floor loading dock.

According to Brown, William Floyd, John Henry, Rachel Stepp and Zackery Williams entered the building on the lower level of the Burlington store. He said the vehicle used in the crime was a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado with an interchanged tag.

Police said they found weapons, burglary tools and copper wire in the suspects’ car. The suspects face the following charges:

  • William Floyd – Commercial burglary, possession of burglary tools and convicted firearms offense

  • John Henry – Commercial Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Convicted Felony Firearm and two active warrants for Commercial Burglary

  • Rachel Stepp – Commercial Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools and Convicted Felony Firearm

  • Zackery Williams – Commercial Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools
