Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix 2024 cancelled, result announced during qualifying | Racing away

The 2024 Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix was canceled on Saturday evening.

Wet weather, which had plagued the event all week, eventually forced the cancellation of the race.

Trophies were awarded to the top three riders from the previous day’s qualifying session: Davey Todd, Erno Kostamo and Peter Hickman.

A photo Hickman posted to social media at the top of this page showed the condition of the famous song.

The warm-up session prior to the race was first rained out as conditions deteriorated. Before the twelve-lap Grand Prix itself was cancelled.
