One woman was seriously injured after the shooting on Sunday morning

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -One woman was seriously injured in a shooting that occurred early in the morning of November 17.

Wichita police said they received a call about a shooting near S Ida St. and E Lincoln St around 1:30 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a woman who had been shot.

Police said the woman was conscious.

They were told the woman was leaving a bar when she was approached by two men wearing ski masks.

She tried to get away from them and was shot in the back.

Police say the woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests were made at the time and police are still investigating.
