British Airways stewardess ‘sexually assaulted by colleague after night out in Rio’ forces airline to cancel two flights

A BRITISH Airways flight attendant claims she woke up to one of her colleagues sexually assaulting her after a night out in Rio.

The cabin crew member shouted inside horror before reporting the man to police, with the airline later forced to cancel two flights over the alleged behaviour.

The flight attendant told me Police that the man abused her while waking himself up while the couple was in bed with a third male colleague in an airline hotel room.

She had partied with the couple the previous night.

Only one of the men reported the incident to the police.

BA “immediately stopped him” and sent him back to Britain.

It is understood he will be formally suspended while the investigation continues.

“A night of swearing the night before has resulted in an incredibly serious and disturbing allegation the next morning, which could end careers and lead to criminal convictions.

“Some of the people involved have long-term partners at home and the consequences of this are devastating for many people.

“BA is offering support to those who need it and bosses are doing all they can in an incredibly difficult situation.”
