Two people are killed in a crash in southeastern South Dakota

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – A two-vehicle crash in a South Dakota community resulted in two deaths.

The crash occurred at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, three miles south of Harrisburg, South Dakota.

A 1999 Ford F-250 was traveling southbound on SD Highway 115 near 276th Street, while a 2019 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on 276th Street.

Authorities say after stopping at the stop sign, the Camry entered the intersection and collided with the F-250.

The driver and passenger in the Camry died at the scene. The driver of the F-250 was not injured.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

The names of the people involved have not been released.
