A Thanksgiving Drive that supports a local organization

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —A Thanksgiving campaign to support Voices Against Violence and survivors begins Nov. 18.

For forty years, Voices Against Violence has strived to support survivors of all kinds with support and trauma-informed care.

The organization also helps by providing survivors with free food and other products they may need.

Many survivors need hygiene items or basic products after leaving a dangerous situation.

This drive is intended to keep Voices against Violence in stock for these people in need.

Executive Director Noemi Juarez shared what they were looking for: “I would say basically anything. I mean, just think about when you leave your house, when you leave your house, think about wherever you’re going, when you go to work, when you go to do some shopping, think about not going back to your house . So what would you need, right? So all the personal care hygiene, toothpaste, shampoo, you know, all that stuff, feminine hygiene products, and then also stuff for the kids.

This runs from November 18 to 22. The drop-off location is 1334 Falls Avenue East and is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
