Bulwell: Violent abuser jailed after repeated attacks

A man who repeatedly attacked his ex-partner has been jailed.

Jordan Wood, of Spruce Gardens, Bulwell, in Nottingham, was arrested after his victim told someone about his behaviour.

Nottinghamshire Police said it was subsequently informed of a series of attacks dating back to November 2022.

On Wednesday, after pleading guilty to three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of assault by beating, the 28-year-old was sentenced to two years and four months in prison and given a restraining order.
