NCP (SP) leader Anil Deshmukh was injured in stone pelting in Maharashtra’s Katol and rushed to hospital

Former Maharashtra minister and NCP (SP) leader Anil Deshmukh was injured in an attack in Maharashtra’s Katol town on Monday.

The incident occurred earlier this evening when a group of people threw stones at Deshmukh’s car, injuring him. Local police arrived on the scene and are investigating the incident.

NCP (SP) leader Anil Deshmukh alleged that some people pelted stones at his car on Katol Jalalkheda Road in Katol Assembly constituency.

He was injured in the incident and is being taken to a nearby hospital. Anil Deshmukh’s son Salil is contesting the elections from Katol seat on NCP Sharad Pawar’s ticket.
