GK Barry took part in her first Bushtucker Trial on Monday’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here after sparking fears she could quit the show.

The terrified social media star burst into tears after the results of the first public vote were announced at the end of Sunday’s opening episode.

But GK shocked viewers on Monday after winning a whopping nine out of 10 stars in her first trial – Vile Volcano.

As she walked to the Trial clearing, GK was feeling positive after a pep talk from her campmates, who said to the camera, “The camp has pumped me up, I’m going into it with confidence, I feel like the world my feet lie! ‘

When explaining the Bushtucker Trial, Ant & Dec revealed that deep within the volcano lay a series of caves and tunnels in which she had to search to find hidden stars.

She only had 10 minutes to find all 10 stars, and of course she was accompanied by a lot of jungle critters.

As the horn sounded, GK Barry began her challenge and Ant and Dec were on hand to offer up plenty of motivational quotes such as: ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’

Faced with snakes, spiders, rats and plenty of creepy crawlies, GK fought his way through with a lot of shouting and swearing. So much so, Ant and Dec declared: ‘We’re going to have to squeak a lot of this!’

As GK passed the spider cave, it appeared she had brought a visitor with her when a huge spider appeared on top of her helmet, much to the horror of Ant and Dec as they watched.

Completing the Bushtucker Trial, GK managed to collect an impressive 9 out of 10 stars for the camp.

When they returned to camp and revealed the news, the campmates were elated and started chanting “GK!” GK! GK!’

It was a far cry from the scenes in Sunday’s episode in which the internet personality, 25, sparked fears she might eventually quit after admitting she “hates” the show.

Viewers have speculated that GK could face many of the trials in this series, given her reactions to the challenges thus far.

GK immediately looked nervous and was heard saying, “Please be Dean,” as they waited to hear who would appear in court.

As GK began to cry, the other campmates began to comfort her, especially Loose Women star Jane Moore.
