Allegiant announces flights to Colorado Springs Airport in its latest expansion

COLORADO SPRINGS — Allegiant Travel Company has announced 44 new nonstop routes, including routes to Gulf Shores, AL, Colorado Springs, CO and Columbia, SC.

The company is offering one-way fares starting at $39 to celebrate this expansion.

The new flights will start in February.

New routes from the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) include:

  • Arizona via Phoenix-Mesa Gateway (AZA) (starts February 12 one-way from $49)
  • California via John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA) (starting February 13, one-way from $59)
  • Florida via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) (starting February 14, one-way from $69)

Allegiant’s full network expansion includes the following nonstop routes:
New route to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) in Arizona:

  • Pennsylvania via Pittsburg International Airport (PIT) (starting February 7, one-way from $79)

New route to Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) in Tennessee:

Two 14-year-olds arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Police (CSPD) have arrested two 14-year-old boys they believe are connected to several recent burglaries. The teens were taken into custody on Nov. 8 and are being held at the Zebulon Pike Youth Services Center.

Two arrests have been made in connection with vandalism in Colorado Springs
