Investigations into fatal boating incidents continue

Lambton OPP officials release more details about a fatal boating accidents which resulted in the deaths of two people.

Emergency services, including members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) Trenton and the U.S. Coast Guard responded to the report of a single vessel collision in Pocket Bay in Walpole Island First Nation at 5:55 p.m. on Saturday.

As a result, two individuals, a 39-year-old from Chatham and a 53-year-old from Stoney Point, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
