New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil, a man no stranger to the NHL’s concussion protocol, left tonight’s game against the San Jose Sharks after taking an elbow to the head from teammate K’Andre Miller.

Chytil made a move after a loose puck in the attacking zone and simply ran into his teammate as they both chased the play. The two teammates eventually collided, leaving Chytil lying on the ice in noticeable pain.

Rangers have now confirmed that Chytil will not be in action tonight.
