The sheriff of Washington Co. seeking information on reported sexual assault in Metzger Park

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a reported sexual assault that occurred in Metzger Park.

Investigators say the alleged attack happened on September 7 in the park at 8400 Southwest Hemlock Street in Portland.

According to the report, the woman was walking her dog when she was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as follows:

Approximately 30 years old, ethnicity believed to be Pacific Islander
About 6 feet tall, 4 inches tall and 180 pounds, with a stocky build
Straight black hair down to the neck, without facial hair
Wear white stripe basketball shorts, a dark T-shirt, flip-flops and a backwards baseball hat

The Sheriff’s Office also released a composite sketch of the suspect.
