Toledo man accused of stomping victim and crushing skull

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The victim of an attack at Greenbelt Apartments early Thursday morning has yet to be identified due to the severity of the injuries.

Juleon Carter, 21, of Toledo, is accused of kicking and stomping on a victim’s head multiple times, fracturing his skull and rendering him unconscious.

The victim is in critical condition in hospital.

The incident took place at the 915 Walnut building, Carter’s address.

Carter was arrested at the scene on charges of assault.

He was indicted in August for allegedly assaulting an officer after police tried to disrupt a gathering on the 800 block of Walnut around 2 a.m. on June 27.
