Bishop TD Jakes, 67, had a “minor health incident” during a sermon on Sunday when he interrupted the service due to a sudden health crisis, causing everyone present to worry about him.

The incident was filmed by someone during the service, which later began making the rounds on the internet.

Under Jake’s supervision and management, The Potter’s House Church, the non-denominational Christian church in Dallas, issued a statement through the bishop’s X-handle stating that he was provided “immediate medical attention” following the sermon.

The statement provided an update on TD Jakes’ health and read: “Bishop TD Jakes experienced a minor health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful one-hour message.”

They continued, “Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals. The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support from the community.”

However, it has not yet been revealed what caused the pastor to have this sudden health incident.

Before starting the service, Jake shared a photo of himself on his Instagram account along with the caption, “I’m ready to share with YOU what God has given me! Our real meal for Thanksgiving is the word of God! Meet me in person or online! 09:00 cdt @tphdallas or go to You Tube! Don’t miss it!”

Notably, The Potter’s House Church, founded in 1996, has more than 30,000 members, as stated on its website.
