One person killed in car crash in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA) – One person was killed and another was injured in a car crash in Rapid City Saturday evening.

Rapid City Police were dispatched to Skyline Drive and Pevans Parkway on Saturday around 9:30 p.m. for a reported car crash. When they arrived on scene, they found a vehicle on its roof.

The driver of the car died at the scene and the passenger of the car was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Rapid City Police Department’s Critical Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.

The identity of the driver has not been released.
