Woman jailed for three weeks for bribing Woodlands officer, mistaking him for Malaysian police

According to Malaysian PostWang Xiping, 42, was driving towards Johor Bahru when she accidentally entered the bus lane at the checkpoint.

An officer noticed the traffic violation and instructed her to turn back and use the correct lane designated for cars.

In response, Wang offered the officer RM50 and later SGD50 (about RM166).

However, the officer rejected both bribes, asked for her passport and told her their interaction was being recorded on his body-worn camera.
