Five Coronation Street spoilers, from Bethany’s heartbreak to Chesney’s unexpected happiness

Upcoming storylines in the ITV soap will see Leanne plotting to do no good, while Bethany and Sarah will be stunned by an unexpected discovery.

Coronation Street fans will witness many dramatic twists and turns next week according to the latest spoilers.

Viewers will have seen how Toyah and Nick’s relationship continued to blossom as Leanne began to make her own plans. Meanwhile, Nick’s holiday is approaching and Leanne tries to make sure Sam is on the run too.

An enthusiastic Shona confronts David and asks him if he was the one who visited Clayton in secret, but David tries to lie his way out of it.

After a few difficult months, Chesney may experience unexpected happiness with money.

Elsewhere in Weatherfield, Sarah and Bethany are shocked to learn about Bethany’s botched operation. And can Ayla and Adam’s relationship get back on track after months apart?

Leanne makes plans

The atmosphere in the courtroom is tense as Rowan’s lawyer cross-examines Amy, Nick and Leanne. When Leanne sees Rowan sharing a smug grin, she loses her cool and… court session is adjourned.

Has Leanne jeopardized her chances of bringing Rowan to justice? Leanne turns to Nick and insists they have a drink together, but will Nick agree?

Leanne discovers Toyah’s passport and uploads the photo page of Toyah’s passport to a website. Back at the flat, a devious Leanne watches Nick try to fix the problem Christmas lights. During Les’s lecture, Nick offers comfort to Leanne as Toyah watches.

Later, Nick lies to Leanne that the school won’t let Sam go on holiday and that he will go alone. However, when Toyah gives Leanne her vacation dates, she soon realizes that she will be free at the exact same time as Nick.

She later replaces Toyah’s passport and opens an email confirming a new bank account in Toyah’s name at Miller & Wise Bank. But what exactly is Leanne planning?

During Friday’s episode, Leanne gets ready for Les’s wake at the bistro, where Nick reveals his plans for a solo holiday as Sam couldn’t get time off from school. After the funeral, the group gathers for the wake, where Nick gives Leanne a comforting hug.

Leanne makes arrangements with Mrs Crawshaw for Sam to accompany Nick on holiday without him knowing.

David hides the truth

David and Shona find themselves in a tense meeting with the prison governor, who reveals that Clayton had two visitors. However, when the governor refuses to reveal the visitor’s identity, David quickly leads Shona out.

A suspicious Shona confronts David, wondering if he was the one who visited Clayton. How will David manage to get out of this situation?

David confesses to Max that he was the one who intercepted the visit orders and visited Clayton, but insists that Shona must never find out. In a twist, Shona jumps into Steve’s taxi and instructs him to drive her somewhere, swearing him to secrecy.

Steve later tells Max that he drove Shona to prison. When they both reach the prison gate, they find Shona in the middle of a heated argument with the governor. As things escalate and Shona loses her cool, she puts pressure on the governor. Will Max reveal the truth to Shona in a desperate attempt to calm things down?

After Shona fails to return home the previous evening, a concerned David visits the cafe hoping to find her at work, but has no luck. When Shona finally returns home, she confides in Roy about a regrettable action she took. What could Shona have done?

Chesney’s unexpected luck

Chesney is furious when he discovers his car tires have been slashed. He tells Fiz about a suspicious van and he is convinced that this is the culprit.

Chesney sees the same van parked in front of his house, but as he investigates, the van hurriedly drives away.

Later in the week, Adam announces that Les’s former workplace, the abattoir, has proposed £50,000 compensation for his death, provided he signs a non-disclosure agreement.

Bernie advises Chesney to look into this more deeply, hinting that there may be more to Les’ death than what the slaughterhouse reveals.

Bethany’s heartbreak

Bethany, struggling with the reality of life with an ostomy bag, goes to her support group. It becomes clear that she has been dishonest with Dawn, the group leader, about the nature of her surgery that resulted in her needing an ostomy bag.

Sarah shows Bethany a news article revealing that the Turkish clinic she visited has made another blunder in a liposuction procedure.

Later in the week, Debbie shows Kevin her new convertible, but her mood changes when Bethany says she has sued the Turkish clinic for yet another botched operation.

Adam tells Bethany and Sarah to demand compensation from a Turkish clinic director who happens to live in Britain, and when he reveals who the person is, the mother and daughter duo are stunned.

Ayla and Adam’s romance

After months of absence, Ayla returned to the cobblestones with new energy. But this also led to Adam confessing his true feelings towards her.

In Monday’s episode, during lunch, Adam admits to Alya that he really likes her. But when he goes to the bathroom, his phone beeps with a notification from a dating app.

Will Alya decide to confront him about his true intentions for her?
