I’m A Celeb viewers are shocked after learning how old Maura Higgins really is – Celebrity

Fans of I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! got a little surprise yesterday (November 25) as the campmates celebrated the birthday of new jungle arrival Maura Higgins.

She and the Rev. Richard Coles were both late additions to this year’s I’m a celebrity in line when they entered the jungle together, only to find out they had to stay in a separate place called the “junkyard.”

Although it initially seemed like a bit of a dingy environment to live in, it soon became apparent that there were a number of built-in secret compartments, including a bath and a pull-out bed.

The pair were then tasked with pulling the wool over their campmates’ eyes, including a segment where they poured offal on Melvin Odoom, but had to pretending they were going through the same ordeal.

Fans loved the twist, but in yesterday’s episode Higgins surprised many viewers when she woke up to birthday celebrations and viewers learned that she had just turned 34.

Needless to say, this caused some people to react in shock as they took in this new information.

“MAURA IS 34? I thought she was my age,” exclaimed someone on social media who we can only assume is not yet 34.

Others said they ‘never thought Maura was 34’, claiming that ‘she looks much younger’ and that they ‘thought she was 27 at most’.

Someone else said they ‘thought she was about 22/23’, and she entered the competition Love Island in 2019 that would have been quite problematic.

While people couldn’t quite decide what exactly age she should look, guesses were largely limited to somewhere in the 20s, meaning whatever skincare routine she performs is working well.

They recently had to do a test where they poured offal on Melvin Odoom, even though poor Melvin thought they were being showered too. (ITV)

The dynamic duo of Coles and Higgins (which sounds like a good name for a detective drama) is already winning big I’m a celebrity viewers despite their late entry into the jungle.

They have to gain a lot of ground in terms of popularity compared to pretty much everyone else, but they do a spectacular job with their antics.

Since entering the jungle, Higgins regaled her campmates with stories of how she got revenge on an ex, saying she went through their phones and realized she didn’t really know them.

While waiting for him to go to the gym the next day, she told her campmates that she “got his toothbrush and I filmed myself scrubbing his toilet” while he had a dentist appointment the same day.
