Man charged in Greenville bank robbery, police say

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – Greenville police said an arrest has been made in a bank robbery that occurred on November 1.

The department said officers were called to United Community Bank on Haywood Road in reference to a bank robbery.

Officials said it was later determined that a person dressed in a white jumpsuit handed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect received a large amount of cash and fled the area.

Police said the suspect was later identified as 28-year-old Deonte Jacquez Bell.

Bell has been charged with bank robbery, according to officials.
