There are many classic films, such as ‘Home Alone’ and ‘Elf’, but there are also Hallmark films that have become popular for their own reasons.

Many film critics may not include “The Holiday” in their top 10 lists, even though it has become somewhat of a favorite.

The film follows the lives of two women who want to spend their Christmas holidays as far away from home as possible and decide to exchange their house for the holidays.

One house is in sunny LA, while the other is a cozy cottage in the English countryside.

Film director Nancy Meyers is also known for her work on ‘Something’s Gotta Give’ and ‘What Women Want,’ so it’s no surprise that her Christmas movie is a rom-com wonder.

With a great cast including Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jack Black and Jude Law, the film ticks all the boxes.

Or at least Airbnb for a while and pretend.

Unfortunately, there may be a little problem with that plan.

The house that people dream about doesn’t even exist.

Across social media platforms, fans have shared their disappointment upon hearing the news.

Many had the same hope of experiencing it one day and are now devastated.

A few people commented that it’s actually nice to know it doesn’t exist because that makes it more magical, and the more positive twist is appreciated.
