CBS has set a date for it The conversation’s very last conversation.

The long-running chat show begins its final week of episodes on Monday, December 16, while the series finale airs on Friday, December 20 at 2/1c.

Although the guests have not yet been announced, hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood will all be on hand for a series of “big holiday gifts.” (CBS notes this The conversation will be giving away more than $2.5 million in giveaways throughout the month of December.)

“The conversation broke new ground when it launched 14 years ago by bringing daytime conversations back to CBS with a refreshing and award-winning format,” CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach and CBS Studios President David Stapf said in an earlier statement. “Over the years, it has been a staple of CBS’s top-rated daytime programming as it brings timely, important and entertaining topics and discussions to living rooms around the world.

“It goes without saying that hosting and producing a year-round talk show is no easy task, and we extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood, our executive producer/showrunner Rob Crabbe and the hardworking production team and crew,” their statement continued. “We would also like to thank our former presenters and colleagues who contributed throughout the seasons. We greatly appreciate the skill, creativity and dedication that everyone involved brought to the show every day. And of course we thank the numerous guests who appeared, and the millions of viewers who tuned in every day.”

As previously reported, The conversation will be replaced by Beyond the gatesthe first new daytime soap opera in a quarter of a century, premiering on Monday, February 24, 2025.
