Report: Dortmund rests Guirassy against Dinamo Zagreb

According to Sky Germany, the Guinea international is feeling better and should be on a plane to Zagreb for Wednesday’s Champions League match against Dinamo.

However, given how well Dortmund performed with Maximilian Beier up front against Freiburg, there are no plans to start Guirassy on Wednesday, the report said.

The forward could come off the bench if necessary, but Dortmund will be wary of bringing him back into action quickly ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Bayern Munich.

Guirassy found the net nine times in thirteen games for Dortmund after his summer transfer from VfB Stuttgart.
