1 person killed in San Ramon on I-680

SAN RAMON, California. – One person was killed Wednesday in San Ramon after crashing into oncoming traffic on the highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

People reported seeing the person running southbound on Interstate Highway 680 near Bollinger Canyon Road around 4 a.m., the CHP said.

A car eventually hit the person, who was pronounced dead.

No other details were provided.

At least two lanes were closed to southbound traffic for the investigation.
