Charges filed against Freeman man after child porn was found

FREEMAN, Mo. (KCTV) – A Freeman man has been charged after multiple videos depicting child sexual abuse were found in his possession.

Cass County, Missouri, District Court documents filed on Wednesday, November 27, show that Samuel L. Sutcliffe, 31, of Freeman, has been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.

A criminal complaint filed by the The Cass County Prosecutor’s Office indicated that at least three videos containing child sexual abuse material were found in Sutcliffe’s possession on Monday, November 25.

Court records show an arrest warrant was issued for Sutcliffe on Wednesday, but as of 4 p.m., it appears he is not behind bars. There is no deposit attached to the warrant.

A trial is expected to take place on Wednesday, December 18 at 9am. No further information has been released.
