Insight into the delirium of Putin’s Russia

The darkness of Putin’s depravity is difficult for Westerners to understand, argues renowned journalist David Satter in this exclusive interview with Kyiv Post’s Jason Smart.

from Smirnov previous charge accused him of falsely claiming to his FBI handler that an executive at the Ukrainian energy company Burisma had told him they had paid Biden and his son Hunter $5 million each to “protect us, through his father, from all kinds of trouble ‘.

Prosecutors said witness statements, email evidence, and telephone and travel records further proved that Smirnov could not have been in contact with Burisma officials when he claimed, and that the bribery allegations against the Biden family were therefore completely false.

Smirnov’s testimony formed the basis of an investigation launched by Republicans in Congress into Biden and his family and led to a House impeachment inquiry against Biden.

The trial against Smirnov in the Biden case has been postponed until January 8 next year.
