FBI Omaha arrests man in connection with child sexual exploitation

OMAHA, Neb. (KOLN) – John Doe 49, a man involved in an ongoing sexual exploitation investigation, was arrested Nov. 26, according to the FBI’s Omaha field office.

The arrest took place outside of Nebraska and Iowa, although specific details remain limited until the man appears in court.

Earlier this month, authorities announced this publicly several photos of an unknown man, because they believed he had crucial information about the identity of a minor victim.

The FBI said the man was seen with a child in a video obtained by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Data from the video indicates it was produced on or before July 2024.

More details are expected after John Doe 49’s first court appearance on December 3.
