Sean “Diddy” Combs breaks silence amid human trafficking investigation

Bad Boy CEO Sean “P.Diddy” Combs has found himself in the middle of an explosive investigation. On March 25, the FBI and U.S. Homeland Security raided the hip-hop mogul’s home. Combs is the subject of an ongoing investigation for sex trafficking.

For the most part, the music mogul has remained silent on the radio during the investigation. But on May 4, Diddy broke his silence for the first time since the ongoing investigation came to light.

In a video posted to his Instagram account, a white hallway appears on camera to show Diddy hugging someone. Then the narration begins.

“Neither hysterical nor frantic. Not anxious, not agitated,” the voice said.

The video then pans again to show the music star in what appears to be some sort of prayer circle. Then the story continues.

“But stable in the storm. It looks bad, it looks hard, but it remains stable in the storm.

The video ends with an image of Diddy spreading his arms.

Combs’ ex-backup dancer speaks out

After the raid, several people began speaking out about their experiences with the once-famous but now-shamed hip-hop icon. Some wonder why these alleged victims waited so long to report the mistreatment they suffered.

His former background dancer, Tanika Ray, says the music industry is a “man’s world” and that women often use the experience as a “lesson” and eventually learn to move on.

“Oh yes, women have a lot to do to function on a daily basis in a man’s world. (Unfortunately) we can compartmentalize (our) pain and move on,” she said on her Instagram account. “We use the experience as a lesson and move forward differently. If I told my story in 1996, then what??

Ray also chastised men in the industry who were aware of the mistreatment and chose to remain silent.

“But in this savage world with a broken system…our healing is the priority. Shame on all these men who allowed this to continue,” she added.

“Shame on me perhaps for prioritizing my mental health, some would say. But after working in a place that snatches souls… mine is intact and full of light. I ran away. Now, if anyone needs me to tell my story, call me. But I think Cassie gets it! »
