Stormy Daniels prepares to testify

Tuesday should be an interesting day in Donald Trump’s secret trial: none other than Stormy Daniels is expected to testify. The adult film actress is of course at the heart of the affair, The Hill notes: She received $130,000 from Trump’s former “fixer” Michael Cohen in 2016 to keep quiet about an alleged relationship sexual encounter with Trump, an encounter he denies ever having. Prosecutors say Trump falsified business records to conceal the payment in the midst of his successful presidential campaign. Daniels’ attorney said it was “likely” she would be called to the stand Tuesday, the AP reports.
