Khloé Kardashian’s Doctor Offered to Bring Son Tatum Home Amid Depression Over His Premature Birth

Khloé Kardashian revealed that her doctor offered to take her and Tristan Thompson’s son Tatum home after she gave birth via surrogate in July 2022.

The “Kardashians” star explained that she was “crying hysterically” after finding out her surrogate was giving birth earlier than expected, and she couldn’t spend a “last weekend” with her daughter, true.

“It wasn’t even about the weekend, it was now that it’s real,” Kardashian said on Tuesday’s episode of the “She MD” podcast with her doctor, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney.

“She (Aliabadi) says, ‘You know what? I’m going to give birth. I’ll take the baby and you let me know when you’re ready to pick him up. And I was like, “What? I’m like, “Who does this?” Who even suggests this? And she did. And I remember I was like, ‘Khloé, F-King is doing it. That’s life. We have to do this,’ Kardashian explained.

“Connecting…took days with True. With him, it takes months and we still don’t have a full connection,” she said in a June 2023 episode of “The Kardashians.”

She clarified that she “didn’t treat him any differently” than true, but she “wonders(ed) myself sometimes.”

“I felt really guilty that this woman just had my baby. I wish someone would be honest about surrogacy and the difference,” she told sister Kim Kardashian –– who also had two children via surrogacy – in a previous episode.

“I take the baby and I go to another room and you’re out of separated. It’s such a transactional experience ’cause it’s not about him. It’s a fucking mind. It’s really the weirdest thing,” she continued.

However, Kardashian explained on the podcast that it took her about nine months to “fully connect” with Tatum, but she is now “obsessed” with him and encouraged others to use a surrogate to “give yourself grace » and “patience”.
