DC robbery suspect caught on camera

WASHINGTON, DC – Detectives with the DC Metropolitan Police Third District are asking for the community’s help in locating a suspect connected to a recent robbery in Northwest DC.

The incident occurred at a retail establishment in the 1700 block of Columbia Road early Friday morning around 4:55 a.m. The suspect forcibly took the victim’s property and was last seen fleeing the scene. Nearby surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect and his vehicle.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about this crime to refrain from intervening and instead contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
