It offers products with less nicotine, such as gums, patches and sprays, to reduce cravings and make it easier to quit smoking. The World Health Organization (WHO) has included it in the list of essential medicines. In India, most smokers prefer to use nicotine gum as part of NRT when they have different choices.

According to a report by Research and Markets, analysis of the NRT industry in India forecasts a robust growth trajectory, with expectations that the market will reach a valuation of $75.74 million (approximately Rs 565 crore). by 2030.
