East Side Elementary to host art exhibit and silent auction

May 10 — East Side Elementary in Jacksonville ISD will host its annual silent auction art show from 4-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18.

All K-4 students on the East Side participate. Each child will have an individual piece of art to sell for $3. These can be purchased and taken home.

Each class created a work of art that will be auctioned. The winner will be contacted on Wednesday May 19 and will have until Friday May 21 to pay and collect the artwork. Payment must be made by cash or check addressed to East Side PTO.

The show is planned outdoors on the East Side Elementary campus. As this is an outdoor event, masks will not be required. However, if the weather requires the show to be moved to the gym, masks will be required.

Parents wishing to purchase their child’s work but cannot attend the exhibition can send $3 along with the appropriate form to the child’s teacher before May 14.

Proceeds from this year’s art show will benefit Holly Fults’ I Can Do Hard Things! » Future Educator Scholarship. Fults was a longtime East Side teacher who died last January.
