Lakers place 8th at Bemidji Boys Invite, Eckhoff finishes 2nd – Detroit Lakes Tribune

BEMIDJI — The Detroit Lakes boys golf team was back in action Monday as they traveled to Bemidji for the Bemidji Boys Invite.

The Lakers finished the day in eighth place after shooting a team score of 328. Bemidji finished in first place after shooting a 306.

Eighth-grader Tyson Eckhoff headlined Detroit Lakes by placing second overall as an individual after shooting a 74. Junior Tommy Suckert placed 27th after shooting an 83.

Junior Owen Chiodo shot an 85 to place him 37th. Junior Luke Helm finished the day ranked 41st after shooting an 86. Senior Luke Cannon took 50th after shooting an 89 and junior Keifer Lundmark shot a 90 to place him 52nd.
