Mother’s Day is fast approaching and Connecticut restaurants are gearing up for a busy Sunday.

Here is a list of restaurants offering special Mother’s Day brunch and dinner menus.

The list is not exhaustive. Call ahead for dine-in, takeout and delivery options.

The capital grid, 44 Front St. in Hartford, is offering special Mother’s Day brunches from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 12. You will have the choice between lobster frittata, strip steak and New York eggs and filet mignon. The full dinner menu will also be available.

Mill on the river, 989 Ellington Road in South Windsor, will offer a Mother’s Day prix fixe menu on Sunday, May 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., $57.95 per person (children 12 and under $24.95 ), plus tax and tip. It includes a soup or salad, a starter and a dessert. Entrances cost extra. Entrees include prime rib, Atlantic salmon, honey-glazed Virginia ham, fra diavolo shrimp and scallops, and more.

Georgina’s, 275 Boston Turnpike in Bolton, is offering Mother’s Day specials on Sunday, May 12 with hours of operation between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The cost is $43.95, $24.95 for ages 3 to 12, free for children under 3, plus tax and tip. Traditional breakfast foods are joined by Newburg Seafood, Baked Ham with Pineapple Raisin Glaze, French Chicken, Vodka Penne, Green Bean Almonds and roast sirloin or beef au jus.

La Notte Waterfront Grille, 1936 Blue Hills Ave. in Windsor, is offering a Mother’s Day brunch buffet on Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a price of $43.95, $28.95 for children 5 to 11 years old, plus tax and tip. Choices include a carving station with pork loin and roast beef, assorted pastries, Belgian waffles, French toast, home fries, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, baked scrod, stuffed chicken, eggplant rollatini, shrimp cocktail and more.

Union kitchen43 La Salle Road in West Hartford is offering a 3-course Mother’s Day meal for $60 per person on Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Foods include French toast, Maine lobster omelette, free-range chicken, carrot cake, and more.

Pond Cafe, in Elizabeth Park on the Hartford-West Hartford line, is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for $74.87, $46.31 for ages 12 and under, plus tax and tip. Choices include shrimp cocktail, crab cake, steak and eggs benedict, smoked salmon benedict, omelet BLT, chicken and waffles and much more.

Maggie McFlywith locations in Manchester, Glastonbury, Middlebury, Brookfield and Southbury, is offering special Mother’s Day menus on Sunday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

J.Gilbert, 185 Glastonbury Boulevard. in Glastonbury, is offering a Mother’s Day prix fixe menu on Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for $59 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservation recommended. Entrees include crab cakes, surf & turf and filet mignon.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, 44 S. Main St. in West Hartford: A Mother’s Day prix fixe menu is available Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12. Your first choice is a 3-course Mother’s Day weekend lunch menu at $52 per guest, with choices like Baby Seafood Louie Salad, Pan-Roasted Maitake Mushroom Cavatappi with Grilled Chicken and pork chop stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. You can also choose a more traditional steak house option with their Surf & Turf 3-Course, which costs $80 per person. A 3-course children’s menu is also available all day.

Casa Mia in Hawthorne, 2421 Berlin Turnpike in Berlin, is offering a Mother’s Day brunch buffet on Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. $45, $20 for children 4 to 12 years old, plus tax and tip. The buffet offers traditional breakfast items, as well as a carving station with ham, prime rib and turkey, lunch items such as salads, breads, cheese ravioli, stuffed sole and chicken with herbs, as well as a dessert station.

Casa Mia is also offering a special takeout dinner for Mother’s Day. It has beef tenderloin, lemon chicken, garlic beans, penne vodka, garlic beans, salad, rolls, butter and strawberry shortcake. $90 for two, $240 for six, $360 for 10. Add-ons are available. Collection of takeaway meals is on Saturday May 11 before 7 p.m. or Sunday May 2 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Fire at Ridge Restaurant and Tavern at Powder Ridge Ski Area, 99 Powder Hill Road in Middlefield, will offer a Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., $59.95, $20 for children ages 4-11, more taxes and tip. Enjoy omelettes, prime rib, rigatoni with vodka sauce, apple cider-braised chicken sausages, mushrooms stuffed with herbed goat cheese and desserts.

The millwright, 77 West St. in Simsbury, is offering a Mother’s Day prix fixe menu on Sunday, May 12, $73 for adults, $37 for children under 10, plus tax and tip. Dishes include Farm Green Salad, Smoked Duck Drumsticks, Potato Masala, Black Bass, Lamb Loin, Caramel Shortbread Bar, Key Lime Pie and more .

A Villa Louise, 60 Villa Louisa Road in Bolton, is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 12. $42.95 for adults, $16.95 for children 10 and under, babies 3 and under are free, plus tax and tip. Choices include a carving station with prime rib and ham, Mediterranean chicken, bouillabaise, penne alla vodka, cod and more, as well as traditional breakfast dishes and a choice of desserts.

Market Grid, 110 Buckland Hills Drive in Manchester, is offering a Mother’s Day prix fixe brunch menu on Sunday, May 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., priced at $46.95, $19.95 for children under 10 years, plus tax and tip. Price includes Fried Chicken and Waffle Station, Salad Station, Western Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Potatoes, Seared Atlantic Salmon, Prime Rib and Pork Carving Station and a dessert station.

Market Grille is also offering a Mother’s Day dinner menu from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. for $48.95 per person. It includes a choice of soup or salad, a starter and a dessert.

Treva, 980 Farmington Ave. in West Hartford, Mother’s Day brunch menu, served Sunday, May 12, for $59, $21 per young adult, plus tax and tip. It includes choices like spinach and strawberry salad, burrata, crab cake Benedict, stuffed brioche French toast, frittata, tiramisu, limoncello cake and more.

River, a waterfront restaurant and bar, 100 Great Meadow Road in Wethersfield, is offering a Mother’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, for $64.95 per person, $32.95 for children under 12 and free for children under 5 years old. Choose from buffet options like scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, waffles, French toast and more, plus entrees like meat lasagna, baked penne bolognese, mussels florentine and Moreover.

Mother’s Day dinner is also available, from 5 to 8 p.m., with options like twin lobster tails, prime rib and New York strips. Prices vary per item.

Hilton Mystique, 20 Coogan Blvd., is offering a Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 12 at 11:30 a.m. It costs $73 for adults 12 and older, $35 for children, free for children under 5, plus tax and tip. Discover buffets featuring scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, maple sausage, soups, quiches, honey glazed ham, prime rib, chicken marsala, roasted summer squash and more .

The dock at the Madison Beach Hotel, 94 West Wharf Road, is offering a buffet-style Mother’s Day menu on Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. $119 for adults, $59 for children ages 3 to 10 and children under 3 free, plus tax and tip. Dishes include chef-prepared omelets, lump crab roe benedict, coconut-crusted cod, wild mushroom and truffle risotto, tiramisu cream puffs, thyme shortbread and with rosemary, and more.
