Appomattox Raiders win big at home track meet

Appomattox County High School’s Bragg Stadium was the site of the Appomattox 4 team meet hosted by the Raiders outdoor track and field team on Thursday, May 2. Alongside Appomattox were Chatham athletes Dan River and William Campbell.

The Appomattox girls won their division with 131.5 points, followed by Dan River (43.5), William Campbell (36) and Chatham (32).

Dan River won the boys division with 93 points, followed by Appomattox (56.5), Chatham (34.5) and William Campbell (26).

Appomattox won 18 individual events.
