United Airlines issues dramatic update for Israeli travelers – www.israelhayom.com

Less than a month after the Iranian attack on Israel, which led to the cancellation of flights to and from Israel by many foreign airlines, one of the largest foreign airlines operating in the country takes a dramatic step for those considering traveling to Israel. WE.

The American airline United, which had already resumed flights to Israel since the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, canceled all its flights to the country in mid-April and has not returned since. Today, the company announced the cancellation of all its flights to Israel until June 1. This is the longest delay since mid-April, as it has chosen to postpone only a few days at a time until now, but this time the delay is extended by almost a month.

The move leaves Israeli national carrier El Al as the only airline to operate flights between Israel and the United States, while Delta is expected to resume operations in June, although further changes may occur. American Airlines is not expected to resume operations in the country until at least October, according to an announcement made by the company a few months ago.

Other airlines that have yet to return to Israel since the Iranian attack include: Air India, which is expected to resume flights on May 16; Air Canada, which is scheduled to return on July 2; and Easyjet, which canceled all its flights to Israel until the end of October. Additional changes may also occur in these cases.

The United States is considered one of the most popular destinations for Israeli tourists, and United’s decision is expected to have a significant impact on air routes to the country.
