Air India Express fires 25 employees for failing to show up for work after ‘collective sick leave’ of crew members led to cancellation of several flights

According to Air India Express sources, the airline has sacked around 25 employees (cabin crew) for not reporting for duty. The employees were fired due to their behavior, due to which thousands of passengers suffered after an incident of “mass sick leave” of workers. The airline will issue a statement within the next 20 minutes, according to reports. More details are awaited.
