Aishwarya Rai Bachchan “inspired” Zendaya’s 2024 Met Gala look? Here’s what we know

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan became a topic of discussion after this year’s Met Gala, even though the actress did not attend the elite fashion event. The theme of Met Gala 2024 was “Garden of Time” and Hollywood actress Zendaya impressed everyone with her multiple looks. Netizens did not like these comparisons and said that it is the designers and stylists who are responsible for the possible similarities and not the actresses. They also pointed out that Zendaya’s dress was taken from the archives and was not inspired by Aishwarya’s Cannes look.

The 2024 Met Gala took place on Monday, May 6 to celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The exhibition featured approximately 250 objects from the permanent collection, rarely seen in public before. Hollywood stars Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Hemsworth co-chaired the event.
