Meet the Bear: Lower Bucks Co Shelter’s Pet of the Week.

Editor’s Note: This is a weekly series featuring pets up for adoption from the Women’s Animal Center of Bensalem Township.

Bear is a beautiful, fluffy 10 year old German Shepherd mix.

Bear loves hanging out in shelter yards, where he can roll around and enjoy the sun.

The bear is friendly to people and takes treats very gently. This sweet senior puppy is looking for a quieter home to relax in, so a family with older children or older pets would benefit him.

Despite his age, Bear is still very young at heart and can’t wait for his second chance at a loving forever home where he can play, roll around, and nap all day.

The bear is available for adoption at the Women’s Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, or by calling 215-750-3100. (PA Kennel License #1516) Click here to visit the center’s website to adopt or give away.

Women’s Animal Center, America’s premier animal shelter, provides a variety of essential services to pets and members of our community, including pet adoption, veterinary hospital, dog training, community programs, humane education and a food pantry for families in need.
