American band Raining Jane’s second concert canceled in Pakistan due to pro-Palestinian protests

The Karachi Arts Council has announced the cancellation of the upcoming concert of Raining Jane, an American band.

The event, scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m., was canceled, marking the second cancellation of their concerts in Pakistan.

The initial cancellation took place at Government College University in Lahore earlier this month, following protests from pro-Palestinian supporters.

Although organized in collaboration with the US Consulate General in Karachi, the concert was met with opposition reminiscent of previous protests against similar events in the country.
