Bello means “beautiful” in Spanish. This perfectly captures this week’s cute Pet Connection.

Bello is a two-year-old orange tabby cat from our friends at Homeward Animal Shelter. He is a super sweet cat who loves everyone. He really just wants to be a cuddly cat.

He’s not a big fan of dogs. Bello also tested positive for feline leukemia. As the virus is transmissible, he cannot live with other cats who do not have the disease.

Bello does not require any special care for his leukemia. You’ll just have to be extra careful if he gets sick, as illness weakens his immune system. But Bello has no symptoms of the virus and is expected to bring years of loving companionship to his new home.
