Suspect wanted in Oceanside murder case;  reward offered

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a woman suspected in the 2022 murder of a man in the city of Oceanside.

On December 26, 2022, Jacob Sanders, 37, was found dead in the riverbed area near Benet Road and Highway 76, according to San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department. Oceanside.


Authorities identified Aarin “Angel” Sorenson, 49, as the suspect. They described her as a transient known to frequent the Oceanside and Tijuana areas.

On Thursday, they said Sorenson may also be in the Las Vegas area and is known by other last names: Perez, Wujick and Rincon.

Sorenson is described as five feet tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes.

Anyone with more information about Sorenson or the murder is asked to call the Oceanside Police Department at (760) 435-4378 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information.
