Jalen Ramsey leaves a message for the Dolphins on his golf scorecard

In his first full offseason as a member of the Miami Dolphins, Jalen Ramsey is doing a little bit of everything. The seven-time Pro Bowler I flew to Hawaii for the Tua Tagovailoa youth football camp, had a lap of the track at the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix, and he was a regular at the Florida Panthers playoff games.

The final stop on his off-season tour was the golf course where he and Tagovailoa played the courses.

After the round, Ramsey posted a photo on his Instagram Story with the scoreboard, which showed Tagovailoa winning by eight strokes. At the bottom was a not-so-subtle message: “PAY TUA!!!!! »

The Dolphins probably don’t need that reminder.

In April, general manager Chris Grier said he was confident a contract extension for Tagovailoa would eventually be reached, although discussions were halted at the time due to the team’s focus on the 2024 NFL Draft. Last week, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said the Dolphins had “started the ball rolling” in negotiations and said the team was “pretty committed” to making a deal.
