Julabo USA, based in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, offers its customers a new way to do business with them.

Saying that content streaming and food delivery services are not the only ones benefiting from the subscription business model, it will now offer subscription pricing to customers in the liquid temperature control market.

The company said the change would impact industries ranging from general laboratory supply to semiconductors to automotive.

“The JULABO subscription model is not just for startups, or even small businesses. It allows businesses of all sizes to access the highest quality liquid temperature control equipment on the market without requiring a capital budget,” said Dirk Frese, vice president of sales, marketing and service at Julabo. “Our portfolio will remain available on a pay-per-product basis, but for us, this option provides yet another competitive advantage to our customers. »

Julabo said it is the first laboratory equipment supplier of its type to offer this monthly financing option and already has interested customers.

“It’s the ‘rent to own’ option that made this deal so compelling,” said Stewart Peña Feliz, CEO of MacroCycle Technologies. “For the type of application this equipment will be intended for, we may not know upfront how long the unit will remain in service. The JULABO subscription gives us the peace of mind of knowing that we are only investing in this equipment for as long as we really need it. This also allows us to have more freedom to upgrade our setup as needed in the long term and to retain additional capital for these upgrades as we continue to scale for the months and years to come.

The Julabo subscription is offered on certain new units only for a standard duration of 36 months.
