May 9, 2024 Today, Mountain Capital Partners has just changed the landscape of winter sports in the southern hemisphere and reached an agreement to acquire the La Parva ski resort – MCP now operates two of the three ski areas in the famous Tres Valles, establishing the most skiable area in the southern hemisphere.

Meet La Parva

La Parva ski resortlocated in the Chilean Andes and interconnected with the MCP complex Nevado Valley, La Parva offers diverse terrain with an interconnected and easy-to-access system of lifts and trails. Together, these two resorts offer a combined total of:

  • Nearly 5,000 acres of terrain served by ski lifts
  • 200,000 additional acres of ski touring
    (accessible by skis or helicopter)
  • 30 ski lifts
  • 84 named trails
  • A maximum elevation of 12,041 feet with a base elevation change of 3,281 feet from the base of La Parva to the summit of Valle Nevado
  • 3,057 feet of elevation change at La Parva and 2,657 feet of elevation change at Valle Nevado

In addition to the vast La Parva ski area and over 200,000 acres of heli-skiing, it also offers mountain biking during the summer months.
